Striders Continue to Roll Toward Nationals

June 19, 2004 --

Lead by record setting performances from Jackson Middle School student Jahari Murdock, the Warren-Massillon Striders Track and Field Club continued their quest for gold at the Eighth Annual Jim Ward Track and Field Meet hosted by the Columbiana Clipper Track and Cross Country programs at Columbiana High School. 

The Strider sprint team of Carlin Isles, Damond Rollison, Charles Isles and Murdock accounted for a total of 10 medals -- 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze.  Rounding out the day for the Striders were additional outstanding performances from Kayla Fuzer - first in the 800m  and second in the 1500m run and Paige Cheyney - third in the 100m hurdles.
